About
WHAT IS THE LIONS MENTORSHIP CLUB?
Every Thursday, students at Liestman Elementary come together for the LIONS (Leaders In Our Neighborhoods) mentorship club to grow in their faith, build leadership skills, and learn how to follow Jesus in everyday life. Through Scripture, discussion, and practical application, these young leaders are discovering how to live boldly for Christ and share His love with others.

MISSION
LIONS (Leaders In Our Neighborhoods) exists to mentor and equip elementary students to follow Jesus in everyday life through biblical teaching, intentional discipleship, leadership development, and hands-on opportunities to share the Gospel and serve others.
WHAT HAPPENS AT LIONS CLUB?
Each week, students engage with Scripture, discover biblical truths together, and make practical plans for how they will obey and apply God’s Word. It has been inspiring to watch these young leaders take their faith seriously, grow in confidence, and boldly share the love of Christ with others. Over the last two months alone, the students have shared the Gospel with more than 150 people, demonstrating that God can use young people powerfully to impact their schools, neighborhoods, and families.

WHO CAN JOIN?
Lions Club is open to all elementary school boys and girls from Liestman Elementary in Houston, Texas. Registration is coordinated through school administrators.
