WHAT IS LEAGUE OF NATIONS?
League of Nations is a free, faith-based soccer program that trains refugee, immigrant, and low-income children across Alief ISD to grow not just as players — but as people. We integrate soccer with life and Biblical lessons, provide intentional guidance, and meet every child where they are.

We envision that by 2030, EVERY ALIEF STUDENT WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS, allowing us to intentionally mentor and impact the next generation holistically through soccer.

MISSION
Our mission is to PROVIDE NO-COST, HIGH QUALITY SOCCER TRAINING to refugee, immigrant and low-income communities. Our program integrates HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT —PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, SOCIAL, SPIRITUAL, INTELLECTUAL and ENVIRONMENTAL—while actively seeking to break the cycle of fatherlessness in children’s lives. We train our coaches to embody four pillars of fatherhood, empowering them to serve as positive role models for the kids they coach
WHAT HAPPENS AT LoN?
Every practice develops players on and off the field through soccer training, competitive games, and lessons in teamwork, responsibility, and courage. Each session ends with a short Bible message connecting the day’s soccer and life lessons to something deeper. Beyond weekly practices, players compete in an in-house Alief league against other schools across 6–8 Saturdays each semester.
WHO CAN JOIN?
League of Nations is open to boys and girls starting in 1st grade or age 6 and up. As a proud partner of Alief Independent School District, the program currently operates at 17 locations across Alief ISD. All practices are held on school campuses and begin after school — making it easy for families to participate at no cost and no transportation burden.
